Pastoral Council
The role of the Council, in conjunction with the Pastor, is pastoral planning. This involves visioning, assessing needs, and setting goals and objectives to support the Parish Mission Statement and evaluating the progress toward those goals.
Any active parish member, 18 years or older, who has been a member of St. Aloysius for at least one year, and has a sincere desire to guide the parish may be nominated.
Discernment is held once a year. Managerial experience is helpful, but not required. The Parish Council meets once a month. There is some work between meetings. Time commitment is approximately 3 to 5 hours per month.
The council welcomes any and all suggestions from parishioners. Items for discussion may be given through contact on the website, through the parish office, through contact of any of the members or by calling the Pastoral Council chairperson.
