The Parish Finance Council is a consultative body established to advise the Pastor in matters pertaining to the financial affairs of the parish. In meeting the parish mission and ministry goals, the Finance Council is directed by the values of the Gospel as well as by good business practices. It makes the final determination of the commission budgets that have been reviewed and approved by the Pastor.
Any practicing adult member of the parish may be appointed by the Pastor. The member should have a general understanding of financial management and reporting. The group meets four to six times a year.
